Community Education

SAFE staff are available to attend civic, church, neighborhood or other meetings to discuss the agency and the issues of domestic violence and sexual assault. For example, we were recently invited to speak to all 9th grade classes in Transylvania County about SAFE and domestic/sexual violence.  SAFE was also awarded a new state grant to fund a Rape Prevention Education Program which helps us to raise awareness of these issues in the community.
